Radico Khaitan takes Rampur Barrel Blush whisky to US.

The whisky is produced at the Rampur distillery in northern India and then aged in ex-bourbon prior to an unspecified finishing period in ex-Australian shiraz. The 45% ABV expression was initially unveiled by Radico Khaitan at the Whisky Live Paris consumer event last September.

Rampur Barrel Blush is available nationwide at an SRP of US$79 per 75cl bottle. Global Drinks Intel has contacted Radico Khaitan for more specific details on its availability in the market.

According to figures released by the Scotch Whisky Association last year, India was the sixth largest market for scotch shipments in the first half of 2024, rising by almost 12% in value terms to GBP105.7m (then-US$138.1m).
