NASA Awards Project Support Bridge Contract

NASA has awarded a bridge contract to ASRC Federal System Solutions LLC, headquartered in Beltsville, Maryland, to provide continued support in critical business and project operations. The contract, known as the Program Analysis and Control (PAAC) Bridge Contract, aims to ensure uninterrupted delivery of essential financial and project management services across multiple NASA facilities. This award highlights NASA's commitment to maintaining operational efficiency and strategic oversight during transitional phases between long-term contracts.

The contract carries a total potential value of up to $98 million and spans a 13-month performance period beginning. It includes both cost-plus-fixed-fee and indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) components, allowing NASA flexibility in adapting to evolving mission needs while ensuring accountability in spending. The hybrid structure of the contract is designed to support dynamic program requirements and optimize budget management throughout the duration.

Under the PAAC Bridge Contract, ASRC Federal will provide a range of business support functions, including accounting, scheduling, documentation, and configuration management. These services are integral to the success of NASA's internal operations and program execution. Additionally, the contract mandates compliance with strict security protocols, ensuring that all activities align with federal and agency-specific cybersecurity standards.

The work under this contract will be carried out at NASA Headquarters in Washington, D.C., the Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland, and the Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia. These locations play key roles in NASA’s research, development, and administrative operations, and the support provided by ASRC Federal will enhance the efficiency and consistency of activities across these facilities.

This bridge contract serves as a strategic interim solution as NASA transitions toward a new long-term agreement. It ensures that mission-critical financial and planning services remain uninterrupted, thereby supporting the agency’s overarching goals in space exploration, scientific research, and technology development. Through this partnership, ASRC Federal continues to contribute to NASA's legacy of innovation and excellence in aerospace and administrative support.
