Role Overview:
The Production Intern will work closely with the production team to understand and support day-to-day manufacturing operations. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to food processing, batch manufacturing, production planning, Packaging, SOP adherence, yield control, and shop-floor discipline
Key Responsibilities:
Production Operations
. Assist in monitoring daily production activities and process flow.
Observe and support batch-wise manufacturing as per production plans and SOPs.
. Ensure correct usage of raw materials as per batch formulation.
Process & Efficiency
. Help record production data such as batch size, output, downtime, wastage, and yield.
. Support identification of process inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
. Assist in basic production planning and coordination activities.
Safety & SOP Compliance
. Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, and safety guidelines on the shop floor.
. Support implementation of food safety and personal safety practices during production.
. Coordinate with the quality team to resolve process deviations.
Equipment & Housekeeping
. Assist in monitoring machine operations and cleaning activities.
Support proper housekeeping and 5S practices in the production area.
. Observe preventive maintenance activities under supervision.
Eligibility:
– Students or fresh graduates in Food Technology, Food Science, Food Engineering, or related disciplines.
– Willingness to work in a manufacturing and shop-floor environment.
