What makes the role meaty?

Oversee daily quality operations, including raw material inspections, in-process checks, finished product evaluations, and sanitation verification.
Maintain and enforce quality standards in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
Develop, implement, and maintain Food Safety Management Systems.
Ensure legal compliance is in place.
Prepare for and manage external audits, inspections, and customer quality assessments.
Maintain QA records, verification logs, corrective actions, and traceability documentation.
Lead root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Prepare quality and food safety performance reports for leadership.
Supervise, train, and mentor QA/QC staff.
Conduct ongoing training for plant employees on food safety, hygiene, and quality procedures.
Analyse quality trends and implement process improvements to reduce defects, waste, and customer complaints.
Collaborate with production, maintenance, procurement, and R&D teams to enhance product consistency and operational efficiency.

We hope that you have..

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Dairy/Food Science, or related field.
10 –15 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control — FMCG experience is mandatory.
Must have strong factory or plant-level working experience in quality & food safety.
In-depth understanding of FSMS, HACCP, FSSAI regulations, GMP, GLP, and audit compliance.
Experience handling plant-level audits and cross-functional coordination.
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
