The company looks for people who can contribute to product innovation and development. The role includes:

Lead the creation of new products, conduct trials and shelf-life testing, and improve existing products for taste, texture, nutrition, and cost.
Utilize knowledge of proteins, fats, spices, stabilizers, and recommend suitable processing methods like vacuum packing, pasteurization, retort, blast freezing, and MAP.
Collaborate with chefs and tasting panels, conduct sensory evaluations, and adapt global trends for Indian consumers.
Ensure products meet FSSAI and international food safety standards, manage labeling, nutritional data, claims, and audit documentation.
Work closely with marketing, sales, and manufacturing teams to optimize trials, troubleshoot issues, and scale up production efficiently.

Who Licious Are Looking For?

Ideal candidates should have:

B.Tech or M.Tech in Food Technology, Food Science, or related fields
3–5 years of experience in product development or R&D
Experience in meat or processed food is a plus
Practical formulation skills using functional ingredients
Knowledge of packaging types like vacuum packs, retort pouches, MAP, frozen and chilled formats
Understanding of food safety systems like FSSAI, HACCP and GMP
Strong communication, problem solving, and project management abilities
Passion for consumer experience, innovation, and scaling D2C brands
