Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Quality Assurance professional with deep knowledge of nutraceutical products, in-process quality monitoring, and regulatory documentation. The ideal candidate will ensure that every stage of production complies with GMP, FSSAI, HACCP, and international quality standards, maintaining product safety, efficacy, and consistency.
 
Key Responsibilities:

1. In-Process Quality Assurance
•    Monitor critical process parameters during manufacturing to ensure product quality.
•    Conduct in-process inspections including weight variation, hardness, friability, moisture content, and blend uniformity.
•    Verify label claim compliance for active ingredients during production.
•    Ensure adherence to batch manufacturing records (BMR) and batch packaging records (BPR).
•    Identify deviations and implement immediate corrective actions.

2. Documentation & Compliance
•    Prepare, review, and control SOPs, BMRs, BPRs, and quality manuals.
•    Maintain documentation as per FSSAI, GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, and Codex requirements.
•    Ensure traceability of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products through proper documentation.
•    Coordinate and prepare for regulatory inspections and audits.
•    Review and approve change controls, deviations, CAPA, and risk assessments.

3. Quality System Implementation
•    Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) throughout the facility.
•    Oversee cleanroom hygiene monitoring, pest control records, and sanitation SOPs.
•    Perform internal audits to ensure process compliance and continuous improvement.
•    Liaise with the QC department for sampling and testing coordination.

4. Cross-Functional Coordination
•    Work closely with production, R&D, and QC teams to maintain product quality standards.
•    Support new product development by ensuring compliance from trial to commercial scale.
•    Train production and packaging staff on QA practices and documentation.
 
Required Skills & Competencies:
•    In-depth knowledge of nutraceutical manufacturing processes and quality standards.
•    Strong understanding of in-process testing parameters for tablets, capsules, powders, liquids, and functional foods.
•    Excellent knowledge of regulatory documentation practices.
•    Proficiency in Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
•    Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and audit readiness skills.
 
Qualification & Experience:
•    B.Sc. / M.Sc. / B.Tech. / M.Tech. in Food Technology, Nutraceuticals, Biochemistry, or related field.
•    5–10 years of experience in QA in the Nutraceutical / Food / Dietary Supplements industry.
•    Proven track record in in-process testing and regulatory documentation.
 
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
•    Accuracy and completeness of production documentation.
•    Timely closure of deviations and CAPA actions.
